For use with Spectrum and Focus Appliances The EnerWorks HeatSafe Collector provides patented protection against overheating and stagnation. Used with Spectrum and Focus Pre-Heat and Single Tank Appliances in residential and small commercial applications, it is the perfect solution for applications where periods of low or no hot water usage may be experienced. The patented overheat-protection mechanism allows excess hot air to vent, preventing overheating and the damage it can cause to the collector and fluid. HeatSafe Collectors are low profile and attractive, resembling skylights, and can be roof-, wall- or rack-mounted. They feature high performance selective coating to maximize absorption of the solar radiation.
For use with Spectrum and Focus Commercial Solutions Rated by the ecoEnergy Program as the highest efficiency flat-plate collector on the market, the EnerWorks Premier Efficiency Collector is the optimal solution for commercial and industrial applications requiring year-round water heating. Suitable for projects of varying sizes, the Premier Efficiency Collectors are installed in repeatable modules of up to ten collectors across and one to two collectors high in flat-roof, sloped roof and wall-hanging configurations.

For use with Spectrum and Focus Appliances Part of the EnerWorks Spectrum and Focus Pre-Heat and Single Tank Appliances, the EnerWorks Energy Station is attached to the solar storage tank and contains the major components of the micro-flow solar water heating system. Available in models sized to work with one to four collector Spectrum and one to two collector Focus Appliances, the Energy Station contains the heat exchanger, pump, expansion tank, flow/temperature sensor and motor. The heat exchanger, available in single wall or double wall, features a unique and patented back flush valve which automatically removes mineral scaling on the heat exchanger’s internal surfaces. The Energy Station also includes the EnerWorks Performance Controller which optimizes the appliance’s operation.

For use with Spectrum Commercial Solutions For larger commercial and industrial applications, EnerWorks has engineered the award-winning EnerWorks Energy Terminal, which integrates the key components of a solar thermal system. An integrated pump, heat exchanger and an intelligent controller system are all contained in a compact housing, eliminating the need to source and assemble components from a variety of sources and simplifying installation. Pre-assembled and factory-tested, the Energy Terminal contains multi-speed pumps and a Programmable Logic Controller which enable customization for each installation, optimizing performance for the specific site conditions and ensuring cost-effective operation.
For larger commercial and industrial applications, the EnerWorks Spectrum Commercial Solution offers reliability, flexibility and unrivalled efficiencies, engineered to maximize performance. Freeze-protected EnerWorks HeatSafe or Premium Efficiency Collectors are roof-, rack- or wall-mounted in arrays sized to optimize solar energy capture. Depending upon water heating needs, the system size can range from four collectors and up, with larger applications typically installed in banks of ten collectors. For these larger systems, the solar energy, captured as heat, is channeled to the EnerWorks Energy Terminal, our award-winning integration of the key components of a solar water heating system. Within the Energy Terminal, the heat is transferred to your water. The EnerWorks Spectrum Commercial Solutions can be engineered to provide solar cooling, space heating and other secondary applications in addition to solar water heating.
Used in residential and small commercial applications, the EnerWorks Spectrum Pre-Heat Appliance is a reliable, year-round solution, offsetting greenhouse gas emissions and saving money on your energy bill. The Spectrum Pre-Heat Appliance uses free solar energy to heat water, becoming your primary source of hot water. If necessary, your existing water-heater heats the water during periods of low solar radiation or at night, so you are never without hot water. The Spectrum Pre-Heat Appliances include one to four attractive EnerWorks HeatSafe Collectors which resemble skylights and can be roof-, wall- or rack-mounted to ensure optimal solar energy capture. The freeze-protected fluid in the collectors channels the heat to the EnerWorks Energy Station, attached to the solar storage tank, typically located in your utility room. Within the Energy Station, the heat is transferred to your water, ready to meet your hot water needs. The EnerWorks Spectrum Pre-Heat Appliance can also be configured to provide secondary applications such as pool heating and space heating. |
